Description from the seller
Kenwood KD-1033 turntable – belt drive – vintage hi-fi
Description
The Kenwood KD-1033 is a hi-fi turntable from the period 1976–1978, built in Japan and housed in a wood (walnut) veneer chassis. This model is known for its reliable belt-drive construction and stable vinyl playback.
The turntable supports 33 and 45 rpm and is fully manual in use, with no automatic features. The S-shaped tonearm with adjustable counterweight and anti-skating allows precise alignment. The vibration-free suspended chassis construction ensures stable performance and clean sound reproduction.
Operation & condition
The turntable is working and spins steadily. It is a belt-driven model with no automatic features. There is a cartridge and stylus present, but the exact type is unknown. The turntable itself appears visually in good condition with normal signs of use. The dust cover is present but in poorer condition, with several scratches and cracks (see photos).
