Description from the seller
Refined column in darkened wood, dating from the 19th century.
Suggestive, beautiful in form and appearance, it is characterized by a slender cylindrical shaft with prestigious turned and molded elements.
The large circular base, high and stepped on multiple levels, and the upper tiered and shaped plane define its balanced and proportioned line, typical of 19th-century decorative production.
The superb darkened finish emphasizes the cleanliness of the shapes and the quality of the ancient artisanal workmanship.
Designed as an ample display pedestal (height 106.5 cm, lower capital 30 cm), the column is ideal for highlighting sculptures, busts, vases, or other works of art, imparting verticality and a strong stage presence to the room.

It presents in good condition with signs of time consistent with its age (see photos), treatment against woodworm performed.
