Three-piece Cognolato coffee set
This refined vintage coffee set from the prestigious Italian silversmith Cognolato is an excellent example of Italian metallurgical craftsmanship, created in Pagova, blending classic style with a distinctive texture.
The set consists of three coordinated pieces: a tall coffee pot (or teapot), a sugar bowl with lid, and a creamer.
The most evident feature is the hand-hammered "martellato" surface, which creates a fascinating play of light and reflections, giving the set a material, artisanal appearance.
The bodies of all pieces feature a vertical ribbed or lobed shape, reminiscent of late Baroque style or reimagined Art Deco, adding volume and dynamism.
The lids of the coffee pot and the sugar bowl are topped by a classic spherical knob.
The handles are slender and elongated, designed for ergonomic and elegant grip.
The spout of the coffee pot presents a very fluid S-curve.
