Description from the seller

Splendid carved and moulded wooden lectern with burl elm veneer and darkened wood, featuring lyre and vegetal garland motifs, Napoleon, in very good condition considering its great age. Acquired at an auction and appraised by Maison Jean dit Cazaux & Associés in Bordeaux (France).

The lectern likely belonged to a musician; it should have stood on a harpsichord, unfortunately I have no further information.

As with all my items put up for auction on this site, this marvel has undergone no cleaning (only dusting) nor modification since purchase.

Good luck with your bids, everyone.

Look carefully at the photos which form part of the description. Any damage not mentioned in the text but visible in the photos is considered described.

No shipping outside the EU; if you are outside the European Union you may bid on one of my lots, but no claim will be possible in case of transport issues. Due to the new import/export regulations to the USA there will be no shipment to that country anymore.

Professional, careful shipping, with signature and insurance.

Seller's Story

Passionate about flea markets, and antiques of all kinds since my childhood, I was already selling on this site as an individual, the joy and kindness of the buyers made me understand that it was the right time to get started in my small business, I pay particular attention to the lots offered in order to be able to satisfy you, all my objects benefit from a very light cleaning and no restoration so that you can judge for yourself their quality and condition, so good auction to all and see you soon I hope
