Antique travel trunk with initials – Late 19th / early 20th century
Magnificent original travel trunk, dated approximately between the late 19th century and the early 20th century, with authentic charm and great decorative presence.
Made of solid wood with metal reinforcements, it features an elegant domed lid typical of travel trunks of the era, designed for greater durability and functionality during long journeys.
On the top stand out the initials “M.O.Z.”, created with metal studs, probably corresponding to its former owner, which adds a unique and historical character to the piece.
The interior preserves its original textile lining, with a beautiful decorative pattern, uncommon in pieces of this age. It also retains its original lock (no key), as well as fittings and structure intact.
Signs of use and the passage of time are evident (see photographs), which is consistent with its age and adds an attractive patina.
