It is an antique two-seater sofa. The frame is solid wood in a warm brown color, probably walnut, with a glossy finish that brings out the natural grain. The design is elegant and curved: the backrest is divided into two padded panels, separated by a slim central wooden frame. The upper edge of the backrest features a wavy line, with small decorative carvings.
The padding of the backrest and the seat is upholstered in light fabric, cream or beige, decorated with a tone-on-tone damask pattern.
The edges of the upholstery are finished with a row of decorative brass or gilded metal studs, which follow the profile of the backrest and emphasize its shape.
