Description from the seller

I have the pleasure of presenting a rare opportunity to acquire a complete pair (2 pieces) of luxurious table lamp bases, a standout example of German lighting design from the 1980s. The offered pieces come from the esteemed Josef Busch manufactory, which was based in Ense, Germany. These models, especially when kept as a pair, are currently almost unavailable on the European antique market, giving them an outstanding Collecting profile and making them a secure investment for lovers of Hollywood Regency and Mid-Century Modern aesthetics.

The architecture of the lamps impresses with a monumental columnar form measuring 34 cm in height and 12 cm in width. The body of each consists of precisely set chromed rods, which in combination with the central shaft create a hypnotic play of light and reflections. The use of high-quality mirror-bright chrome is a hallmark of the German school of craftsmanship from Ense, guaranteeing durability and a lasting shine for decades. Technically, both lamps are fully electrically functional and adapted for operation at 220V (cable length 1.5 m). The sturdy fittings allow for bulbs up to 60W (recommended to use modern LED sources for an optimal lighting effect without heating the structure).

The sale includes only the bases (no shades), which gives the new owner unlimited possibilities to personalize and tailor them to a specific interior—from classic cylindrical white shades to modern forms in deep black with a gold interior. Due to the rarity of identical identical pairs signed by Josef Busch, this is a proposal directed at the most demanding decorators and collectors seeking symmetry, authenticity, and the highest level of workmanship “Made in West Germany.” These are sculptural objects that will dominate any living room, study, or bedroom space with their form and prestige.

I do not ship to the USA.
