Description from the seller

A big and impressive table lamp in a Neoclassical design with Empire influences, dating to the late 19th century (circa 1890–1910).

The substantial fixture is made of gold-plated metal (bronze or brass), with a rich finish that highlights its sculptural details.
The base is supported by three lion paw feet holding on to orbs, transitioning into a heavy triangular scroll-shaped pedestal. Each face of the base features a cast relief of a winged cherub.

The central stem leads to a detailed spherical mid-section, featuring three-dimensionally cast angel heads with outspread wings, followed by an engraved round plate sitting beneath the socket.

The lamp has its original, gold-plated adjustable lampshade holder.
The heavyweight construction of nearly 4 kg reflects the quality of production from this era.

Height: 51 cm (with shade holder), 39 cm (to bulb)
Width: 22 cm
Depth: 20 cm
Net Weight: 3839 g

The lamp is in good condition, with very light wear to the gold-plating. Some signs of wear include dark patina stains and a few age spots, mostly around the lower base and feet. The electrical components, including the cable and switch, are fully functional and the lamp works just as it should. It is structurally sound and looks amazing.

Please take a good look at the photos, which are an integral part of the description.

This lot will be carefully packed so it will get to its new owner exactly as it should.
