AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

A clock from our top collection.

This dark patinated French table clock also features a French cord-wound movement with striking on a wonderful pure bell.

In the dark patinated bronze case, behind a facet-cut glass ball, sits a beautifully gilded dial.
The back is also kept dust-free by a glass ball. To keep dust out, the bottom is also sealed.
The whole displays craftsmanship. With these gorgeous original ornaments on the case, feet, dish, etc.

These embellishments, as well as the balls around the dial, point to a style of the very early Empire period.

Of course, a winding key is included (this one is unfortunately newer than the clock).

The movement has recently been serviced and adjusted.
We will prepare this clock for shipment with great care.
