Amsterdam School Clock - Art Deco oak - brass - 1920-1930

This Amsterdam School pendulum clock, partly made of solid oak in an imposing style, is still in very fine condition.
The striking modeling of the oak clock case is typical Art Deco style, robust and heavy, and again features the characteristic symmetrical construction of the case.
The fully solid brass dial is framed by a moulding, making it look almost like a painting, and the dial is showcased even more prominently.
The brass hands are clean and stand out nicely against the background.
The German movement from Junghans has been ultrasonically cleaned and, where necessary, oiled at the pivots, and it runs well; the strike is a three-tone gong strike.
A top clock that will be a very special sight in any interior.
