Austin Mini Traveller, a 1967 British estate with a 1000 cc engine.
Description from the seller
GENERAL
Austin Mini Traveller of the year 1967, a British classic with an emblematic history within the Mini family. The Mini Traveller is part of the estate versions of the classic Mini, characterized by its longer body with a double barn-style rear door and decorative wooden detailing that gave it a unique look and more versatility than the traditional saloon. Its design was based on the original Mini with front-wheel drive and transverse-cylinder engine, which provided agile and practical handling even for its era, becoming a model highly valued among small families of the sixties. The 1967 version already mounted a 998 cc engine with approximately 38-39 hp, more powerful than the early 848 cc specimens, and was offered with superior Super De Luxe finishes that made it one of the most attractive and complete estate models of its generation.
This example was imported from Germany to Spain in 2012 and preserves a high degree of originality with a well-maintained body and many of its factory elements intact.
BODYWORK AND PAINT
The paint is in very good condition. It shows small wear and natural marks consistent with its age, which enhances its authentic and classic character. The body retains all its original Traveller design lines, including the decorative wooden mouldings characteristic of this model.
TECHNICAL
Technically, the vehicle maintains its general mechanical setup of the era, adapted with a 1000 cc engine that offers balanced and reliable performance for current use. The mechanics preserve that simple and straightforward character typical of classic Minis, with front-wheel drive and agile, light handling that makes it especially enjoyable on quiet roads or classic car meetups.
INTERIOR
The interior largely preserves its original configuration, with materials and details typical of the Minis of the sixties. It presents small wear compatible with its age, indicating authentic but well cared-for use.
DOCUMENTATION
The vehicle has proper documentation ready for transfer and currently valid ITV (roadworthiness).
COLLECTION
Transport can be arranged through specialized companies. The cost will vary depending on the destination.
OTHER INFORMATION
A highly interesting piece for collectors and lovers of British classics: an authentic 1967 Austin Mini Traveller, with original bodywork and paint, imported from Germany and with a clear and documented history, ideal for restoration as well as for keeping in its genuine state.

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
