Description from the seller

BMF (Bayerische Metallwarenfabrik) – Design insulated pot / thermos – Postmodern – Germany (West Germany)

Beautiful and striking design insulated pot from the German brand BMF (Bayerische Metallwarenfabrik), produced in West Germany. This thermos is a typical example of postmodern design, with its geometric shapes, playful lines and translucent color usage. The pot is finished in a deep cobalt blue plastic housing with a contrasting silver-colored cap and base. The angular handle and sharp spout give the whole thing an architectural and futuristic character. A real eyecatcher for lovers of vintage design and 80s/90s aesthetics.

Fun detail: This model is often associated with the iconic pots seen in the series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Although this specimen is a variant with silver-colored accents (and thus not exactly the same execution), it shows strong similarities to the so-called “Star Trek” version, which makes it extra interesting for both design and pop culture enthusiasts.

Special features:
- Original box included
- Includes original documentation/manual
- Small damage visible on the top of the cap and on the handle (see photos)
- Inner side clean and intact
- Box shows wear, dents and light cracking

Dimensions: the pot is 27 cm tall and the diameter at the base is 17 cm.
Weight including box: 875 grams.

The photos are part of the description. Shipping: Track and Trace via POSTNL.
