Sumptuous and imposing Maria Teresa-style pendant chandelier dating from the mid-20th century. This piece epitomizes classical elegance and timeless luxury, perfect for refined and prestigious settings.
The chandelier features a gold-toned metal structure, richly adorned with a cascade of faceted, sparkling crystals. Its multi-level, intricate shape creates a dramatic and theatrical play of light and reflections.
A distinctive, highly valued detail is the amethyst-colored crystal elements that embellish the arms and pendants, giving the chandelier a delicate and sophisticated touch of color. The arms are clad with crystal strips and the central shafts are made of blown glass. The arrangement of the crystals, in the shape of drops and pendants, contributes to the piece’s preciousness and charm.
The blown glass bobeches are delicate and elegantly finish the light points, ready to diffuse a warm, welcoming glow in the room.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. All crystals are present and intact. The metal frame shows a light natural patina consistent with age, certifying its authenticity. The electrical system is original but in good condition (a check for installation is always recommended).
