In a hard to find, excellent, condition.
Original vintage wall lamp attributed to the Dutch brand Herda, a company renowned for its bold Space Age and modernist lighting designs. This specific type with the round backplate is very hard to find.
This striking model is made of brown and transparent plexiglass elements, creating a fascinating interplay of light and shadow. When lit, the lamp projects geometric patterns onto the wall, making it not only a functional light source but also a decorative object with sculptural qualities.
Designer/Brand: Herda, The Netherlands
Period: ca. 1965–1975
Material: Plexiglass (brown/transparent), metal fittings
Dimensions: 20 × 20 × 16 cm
Completely rewired for your safety. With on/off button.
Including a new mirror light bulb; so directly ready for use.

Herda was founded in 1946 in Amsterdam and became one of the Netherlands’ most innovative lighting companies. Known for their daring Space Age and modernist creations, the brand remained active until 1997. Today, their lamps are highly collectible and sought after in the vintage design market. As a reference to Herda's history, I have added an old advertising photo to this advertisement for illustrative purposes. (See last photo)
A true eye-catcher for any modern interior, office, or design collection.
NB: Fully functional, but as with all vintage electrical items, a safety check + installation by a qualified professional is recommended before use.
