Special and rare design from the iconic period of Expo 58. This elegant little table embodies the optimism and progressive styling of the late 1950s, in which functionality and sculptural aesthetics went hand in hand.
The organically shaped top, executed in a vivid original green color, is characterized by playful cutouts that not only visually intrigue but also refer to the original multifunctional use as a compact picnic table. The three slender, diagonally mounted wooden legs give the piece a light, almost architectural appearance.
A rare item that functions as both a functional piece of furniture and a decorative design object.

Origin: Belgium, in the context of Expo 58
Material: lacquered wooden top, legs
Design: organic, sculptural, mid-century modern

In original vintage condition with clear signs of use. The top shows lacquer wear, scratches, and edge damage. This patina underscores the authenticity and historical character of the object. Structure and stability are good.
