The Aston Martin DBR1 was a sports car built by Aston Martin from 1956 and intended for the World Sportscar Championship and for sports car races that at the time did not belong to the championship. It is best known as the winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1959, the sole direct victory of Aston Martin in the endurance classic. It is one of only three cars in the 1950s to win both the World Sports Car Championship and the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the same year. Moreover, the six victories in the World Sports Car Championship were a record for any car in the 1950s and it remained a record in the championship. The three consecutive triumphs in 1959 at the Nürburgring, Le Mans and the Tourist Trophy equaled the record of the Ferrari 250TR with its three consecutive wins at the start of the 1958 season.

The past year I started painting exclusive watches on request. The Rolex brand has often been the subject. I also make commission art on request. Popular Rolex watches I have painted are the Submarine, Submarine Hulk, GMT master, GMT master II, Rolex daytona, Rolex pepsi, Rolex batman and many more.
