This fauteuil features a beautifully hand-carved wooden frame with floral motifs and gracefully curved cabriole legs, typical of the Louis XV revival period. The proportions and craftsmanship reflect authentic French production.

The chair is upholstered in a deep red fabric with decorative nailhead trim. The upholstery has been renewed in the 20th century and shows light signs of use, adding character without compromising comfort.
