Description from the seller
Sony STR DA1200ES
The Sony STR-DA1200ES marked the return of the prestigious "Standard" (ES) series to a wider audience. This multichannel AV receiver combines audiophile build quality with the then-new digital capabilities, such as HDMI connectivity. The amplifier is known for its enormous weight and solid toroidal transformer, resulting in a very stable and powerful sound reproduction. With the advanced DCA calibration, the device tunes itself precisely to the acoustics of your room. Although it does not support modern formats, the DA1200ES remains a beast of an amplifier that in a pure setup still easily outperforms many modern receivers in musicality and dynamics.
Specifications:
Power output: 100 Watts per channel into 8 Ohms
Video upconversion: Analog to Component / HDMI
Frequency response: 10 Hz / 100 kHz
The Sony works perfectly.
