Hand-forged princely key made from solid iron. A real piece of Gothic history, distinguished by its exceptional form. The distinctive, large ring handle gives the key an imposing presence and weighs about 100 grams in the hand. It is truly enormous; it is about 11 cm long and 6 cm wide.

A special detail is the delicate heart element inside the grip – a symbol often used on high-quality chests or portals.

The baluster shaft is artfully profiled and testifies to high smithing craftsmanship.

The stout key blade features a deep notch and a cross profile, which points to a complex historical lock-placing system that in the 18th century indeed not everyone could master.

An absolutely unique specimen and the most special key I will probably ever hold in my hand.
