Grand mural wall plaque Art Deco – 33 cm – Bronze with green patina

Superb and large wall-mounted model depicting The Horses of Apollo, iconic work by the French sculptor Max Le Verrier, a major figure of Art Deco.

This spectacular composition shows Apollo rising from the waves, surrounded by his solar horses, in a dynamic scene highlighted by stylized rays typical of the years 1925–1935.

Characteristics
• Artist: Max Le Verrier
• Title: The Horses of Apollo
• Era: around 1925–1935
• Material: bronze with green patina
• Diameter: 33 cm
• Signature: molded signature “M. Le Verrier” on the reverse

Condition

Good overall structural condition.
Presence of traces of oxidation and wear visible at the center of the composition, consistent with age and exposure to humidity.

The original green patina is largely preserved and offers a very beautiful reading of the relief.

This model is among the most sought-after mythological compositions by the artist.
Its 33 cm size, rarer than the small models, makes it a striking decorative piece, ideal for an Art Deco interior or a specialized collection.
