Rare set of 4 imposing antique Throne Chairs with a shaped solid walnut backrest, featuring centrally carved fretwork figures, details of heads at the ends, faces with screaming expressions in the center. Carved and turned column supports, shaped carved frieze in solid walnut, resting on unusual shaped turned legs.

Unique pieces of their kind, with superior detailing and grandeur, very rare specimens.

In 2 chairs the upper carving is absent; they will nevertheless be supplied with some original pieces included in the offer in case the buyer wishes to restore them to have all 4 equal.

In overall excellent condition, evidencing the passage of time with normal signs of wear considering the era, which however do not prejudice the beauty, form, functionality, and integrity of these unique pieces.
