This hand-knotted Oriental rug in the classic Isfahan design features a very fine floral composition with a large central medallion and densely worked vine ornaments.

The light field in beige is dominated by a richly worked medallion in rose and blue tones. From this center, numerous curved vines, palmettes, and floral elements unfold, symmetrically distributing over the entire field. Such floral arabesques with a central medallion are typical of Isfahan rugs and belong to the best-known classic Persian rug compositions.

The broad border is rendered in warm red and rose tones and designed with finely drawn floral vines. Several narrow secondary borders frame the interior field zusätzlich and give the rug an elegant, balanced structure.

Due to its large area, this rug is excellent for spacious living areas, dining rooms, or representative rooms and forms an impressive focal point there.
