Description from the seller
La Miranda Sensorex is a 35 mm film SLR camera produced at the end of the sixties by the Miranda Camera Company. It is one of the brand's more advanced models and represents an ambitious attempt to compete with the most established professional SLRs of the era.
The body is solid, all-metal, with a functional design that is slightly chunky. It conveys a sense of robustness and mechanical precision, typical of Japanese SLRs of that period. The grip is not as pronounced as in modern cameras, but the ergonomics remain good thanks to the arrangement of the controls.
Slow shutter speeds to review, light meter to test
One distinctive element of the Sensorex is the TTL (Through The Lens) exposure system, an advanced feature for the era. Light measurement is performed directly through the lens, ensuring greater precision than external metering systems. The exposure meter is coupled to the camera controls, allowing more intuitive adjustments.
