Mini Cooper S Cabriolet, 2004, with a 1.6‑litre 16V engine and supercharger delivering 170 hp, paired to a six‑speed manual transmission in black.
Description from the seller
Beautiful and properly running Mini Cooper S, from 2004, original 1.6-liter 16V engine with a supercharger (that’s why Cooper S), 170 hp and paired with a six-speed manual gearbox.
The Mini Cooper S generation R53 is one of the most reliable Mini generations from the BMW era, a 1.6 Chrysler block paired with a supercharger, a guarantee of reliability and consistent performance. The 2004-2007 generation is one that benefited from very useful developments, a new Getrag gearbox with better speed shifting, a more reliable steering system (addition of a steering cooler), new 3-spoke steering wheel, addition of the glove compartment. Starts, drives, shifts and stops well, like new.
Body:
This Cabriolet Cooper S has a nice, original black color, which Mini aptly simply calls “Black.” In terms of rust, this car is very neat. The only signs of use are present, see photos, slight damage at the corner of the rear bumper. The electric roof works fine and is in good condition. The underside is also tidy, really a clean car. See the photos.
Technical:
The Mini has not been used much in recent months due to circumstances, so a service is advisable before putting the car fully to use. It steers like the best, a wonderful car to drive. The car starts immediately, pulls well, shifts, steers and brakes perfectly.
Interior:
The car is partially equipped with leather interior, a leather sports steering wheel original Mini, air conditioning, power windows and radio. The electric roof and windows work fine. Standard xenon lights, and neat alloy wheels, see photo.
Documents:
The MOT/APK is valid until 29 March 2027. The car was originally delivered in the Netherlands, so it has a valid Dutch registration. The car can be delivered (for an extra €50) with EU export documents, so a potential foreign new owner can register the car easily in his/her country. A COC/CVO declaration is also possible, for an additional €70. The mileage is fully officially verifiable, see also the photos.
Transport:
The car is located in Hengevelde, the Netherlands and can of course be picked up here. The car can be delivered within the Netherlands for an extra €170 (excluding the Wadden Islands).
The seller can arrange economical delivery to the entire EU via a professional transporter.

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
