A Statenbijbel, printed in 1710 in Dordrecht by Jacob and Pieter Keur.
With original Acte van Authorisatie, with the original signature of Pieter Everwyn.

Leather cover in brown with beautiful engraved decoration.
Two heavy copper clasps, one at the back has come loose but is readily restorable.
The Bible’s condition is fair to good. Some pages with minor damage and a few pages with water damage. In total, not at all disruptive.

Also adorned with fine calligraphy and illustrations, albeit limited.
The world map is missing.
Binding and bound work are good, as are the copper-plated ornaments on the corners.
Extremely decorative and a unique piece of history

The Bible contains a total of 736 pages, divided as follows

New Register of the Old Testament 21 pages

Old Testament 332 pages
With 1 illustration in the book of Deuteronomy

The Prophecies of the Prophets 144 pages.

New Register of the New Testament 12 pages

The New Testament 169 pages

The books called APOCRYPHE 58 pages.
