Description from the seller

Set of 2 Bulgarian Silver Repoussé Items: Bowl & Small Plate - National Lion Emblem - Mid-20th Century
This is a beautiful 2-piece set of Bulgarian silverware, consisting of a small bowl and a matching decorative plate. Both items feature a prominent Bulgarian Lion (Rampant) at the center, the national symbol of strength and sovereignty.
The set is decorated using the traditional repoussé technique, featuring intricate Balkan/Celtic interlaced knots and heart-shaped motifs around the rim. The bowl also showcases a fine hammertone finish in the center, adding a unique handcrafted texture that reflects light beauty.
The plate is marked on the reverse with the maker's mark "AMS BULGARIA". While there are no numerical fineness marks (hallmarks), the metal has been professionally acid-tested by a jeweler and confirmed as solid silver (estimated 800/925 purity, typical for Bulgarian silver of this era).
The set is in excellent vintage condition with no dents or deep scratches. It retains a natural patina that highlights the depth of the engravings.

Total Weight: 158 grams.
Items: 1 Bowl, 1 Small Plate/Saucer.
Origin: Bulgaria (AMS Workshop).
Theme: National Heraldry / Folk Art
