Description from the seller
Premium - Celestine geode
An essential piece of your interior decoration
Celestine comes from the Latin term « coelestis » which means « heavenly ». More commonly it can be translated as “sky blue.” It was in 1789, shortly after its discovery, that the German mineralogist Abraham Gottlob Werner named this crystal whose reflections resemble a sky bathed in light.
Its color, of great softness, earns it the nickname “Stone of Angels.” According to legend, it was born from the pure and hypnotic song of angels. It is also associated with the constellation Pleiades, regarded as the spiritual cradle of humanity.
Many synonyms are linked to it, among which celestite, cliftonite, dioxynite, sicilianite, or strontian sulfate.
