This cassette player was very recently fully serviced. Internally and externally cleaned and where necessary degraded parts replaced. The mechanism was lubricated and recalibrated. Recording and playback very good. A very nice vintage unit, built as if it should last forever. You can’t say that about the devices that are on the market today.

This Marantz SD 3000 is a stereo cassette deck with Dolby B noise reduction, first sold by Marantz in 1979 and two years later, in 1981, discontinued.
The main features of the Marantz SD 3000 are: 2 heads, mechanical 3-digit tape counter, manual tape type selection and the ability to handle normal, chromium and ferro-chrom tapes with additional manual equalization selection, belt-driven single-capstan transport.
Shipped very well packed and insured.
