Architectural ornament - 20th century - Verona Red Columns

Stunning and unprecedented marble column from NE Italy (Verona). (Verona Rosso).
Can support a very large (garden) statue, with a diameter of 0.50 m at the top and slightly rounded outward. See the last photo.
Toward the bottom it is gently and playfully shaped with a base diameter also 0.50 m.
The whole thing consists, of course, of a solid block of marble, which is extremely rare.
Estimated weight: 350-400 kg.
The height is 0.87 m.
This marble type is widely used as flooring in churches and palaces, and is also commonly used for architectural and decorative elements.
Please note that the column shows small chips, a sign of the passage of time, which makes the object even more authentic.
In agreement with the buyer, the seller can also arrange delivery of the column up to 1200 km from Brussels.
