Description from the seller

An antique pair of theatre/opera binoculars dating from the late 19th or early 20th century.

Gold-plated brass model with a brown leather (or faux leather) covering, decorated with finely worked friezes. Focusing is achieved via a central wheel, typical of models from that era.

These binoculars were used during performances (theatre, opera), which makes them today a beautiful collectible or vintage decorative piece.

The set is accompanied by its original red velvet pouch, with a cord closure.

Overall good condition with a nice patina of age, normal signs of wear related to age; see the photos as they are part of the description.
