AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

French Decanter for Liqueurs – Minerva Silver 1

The item up for auction is a uniquely beautiful decanter, blending the craftsmanship of French goldsmithing with the classic elegance of crystal. An ideal decorative piece for a bar or a refined gift for a connoisseur.

Material: High-quality crystal glass, decorated with deep vertical cuts (so-called faceting), which beautifully refract light.

Fittings: The neck and stopper are made of the highest quality silver (Minerva 1).

Hallmarking: On the fittings there is a clear French assay mark “Head of Minerva” in a frame (indicating silver fineness .950) and a diamond-shaped mark of the silversmith.

The decanter presents itself magnificently. The silver has a natural patina, which underlines the authenticity and age of the item. The glass is clear, without cracks. The stopper is fitted and original, also made of silver (visible hallmark on the stopper shaft).
