Description from the seller
Beautiful old oval enamelled cast iron casserole attributed to Cousances, made in France, dating from the 1970s, in its emblematic volcanic orange / flame orange color.
This model has a particularly interesting technical feature: a hollow reservoir lid, designed to hold cold water or ice to promote gentle cooking, good moisture retention, and regular internal condensation during preparation.
Its oval shape, less common, gives it additional interest both for culinary use and for collection.
