Description from the seller
Pair of original vintage Art Deco nightstands, characterized by an imposing architectural line and exceptionally high-quality woodcraft. A true piece of Italian design history.
Valuable Features:
• Unique Design: Multi-level structure with rounded corners and a stylized lion's paw base, typical of the most refined Deco taste.
• Materials: Stunning veneer in walnut and blond burl, arranged to create geometric grain patterns (open-pore finish).
• Upper compartment: Pull-out drawer with integrated shelf (often originally used for marble or as an additional work surface).
• Lower compartment: Large door with spacious interior.
• Original Hardware: Bakelite and metal handles perfectly preserved, adding an authentic touch of mid-century modern.
Condition:
