Hand-knotted Oriental rug in the classic Turkmen design. This pattern is among the oldest and most well-known knotting traditions of Central Asia and has been passed down through generations by nomadic peoples. The characteristic Gul motifs symbolize tribal affiliation and lend each rug its unmistakable rhythm.

The deep, warm red dominates the entire field and gives a powerful yet elegant aura. The Gul ornaments are arranged regularly across the surface, creating a clear, calm structure. The border echoes these elements and frames the rug harmoniously, resulting in a closed and very cohesive overall image.
