An antique Willem III style tea table from the Netherlands, dating to ca. 1860–1880, made of wood with walnut veneer and floral marquetry in good used condition.
Description from the seller
Antique tea table – Willem III period, Netherlands (ca. 1860–1880)
Elegant and refined antique tea table from the Dutch Willem III period, characterized by rich materials and a distinctly decorative character.
The top is finished in handsome walnut veneer with burl walnut, centrally enlivened by an inlaid panel with floral marquetry in warm tones. The subtle contours and the contrast between the different woods give the piece a lively and luxurious appearance.
The wavy edge is partly black-polished, which forms a stylish frame around the warm wood and gives the furniture a strong silhouette. The table rests on a slender, turned central leg, ending in an elegantly shaped trefoil with gracefully curved feet — typical of the period.
A particularly decorative and representative piece of furniture that works equally well on its own or in a classic interior.
Condition: only minor signs of age and wear.
Note: pickup only, or use the delivery service of brenger.nl, or have me deliver it for a reasonable fee, only within the Netherlands.
