Vintage oak roll-front cabinet from the 20th century in good condition, made of wood, with a lockable upper fall-front desk and a lower hinged cabinet, dimensions 89 cm high, 89 cm wide, 39 cm deep.
Description from the seller
Elegant oak roll-top cabinet, crafted in the course of the 20th century, characterized by classical lines and a pleasantly compact proportion that facilitates its integration into different furnishing contexts.
The front is adorned with panels with a Wavy pattern and natural wood grain, enhanced by a recent hand-polished finish performed with the traditional gommalacca technique, subsequently protected with carnauba wax. This finish provides depth, tonal warmth, and a soft, respectful shine to the original material.
The upper tambour conceals an internal compartment with a writing surface, functional and well-proportioned, while the lower part consists of hinged doors offering additional storage capacity. The piece rests on a shaped base with stylized feet, in keeping with the classic taste of the furniture.
The compact proportions (height 89 cm, width 85 cm, depth 39 cm) make the piece particularly versatile, suitable as a small writing desk, as an entryway cabinet, or as a decorative container.
The furniture is presented in good conservational condition, with restoration carried out in respect of traditional techniques. There are slight signs of time and use, consistent with its age, that do not compromise its stability or usability, but rather attest to its authenticity.
An object of classic taste, ideal for elegant environments or for creating a refined contrast in contemporary settings.
