Important cast iron wall mirror, with high-relief vegetal decoration, depicting a stylized floral motif of digitalis type, characteristic of the Art Nouveau repertoire.

The composition, asymmetric and organic, is set within a curved frame with a narrowed top, reflecting the direct influence of French decorative arts at the turn of the century.

The whole is distinguished by the quality of its casting, the depth of modelling and the fineness of the sculpted details, giving the piece a true decorative and sculptural presence.

The décor is signed “Prévost”, the signature visible in the material, attesting to workshop or artist’s work, reinforcing the interest of this piece.
