Presented is a solid and finely worked photo frame object from French Biedermeier culture!

As to the condition: This antique display piece of French salon culture stands authentic and original!
The bronze appears almost untouched and the old glass is, like the back and stand hardware, complete and functional!
Only the inner frame cartouche – probably including the surrounding upholstery – has suffered (see photos)!
Nothing that would deny the piece its value; it even lends the object a charm that reflects the patina of times past!
