With this series "Grand Line Chronicles", SKE dives into the heart of the One Piece universe by imagining unpublished episode covers, as if emerging from a parallel timeline where Luffy’s adventures continue to be written.
Each work is conceived as a fragment of a story never told, faithful to the spirit of the original manga: titanic battles, unlikely alliances, characters’ power progression, and dramatic intensity worthy of the saga’s most memorable moments.
SKE does not merely pay homage — he extends the myth.
The compositions reproduce the visual codes emblematic of the manga: extreme dynamism, instant storytelling, energy overload, and spectacular staging, while injecting a contemporary artistic reading.
For fans, each piece acts as an emotional capsule: it awakens the sensations of cult scenes, while opening the door to new interpretations and limitless imagination.
- ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a self-taught French artist with a wide range of interests who grew up in the 80s/90s culture, inspiring a large portion of his artistic works.
He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stencils, graffiti, urban installations, and digital art. His dynamic, expressive compositions, often with a double reading, blend the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.
After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE’s value has risen notably. Winner of the first prize at the Urban Master contest (2023), then chosen as Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was selected as "Artist of the Month" by the Opulence gallery in October; he also benefited from a feature in an American art magazine, confirming his international recognition.
His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States, and Asia, consolidating his place on the contemporary art scene. Parallely, SKE also makes his mark in the digital art market, a major trend of the past couple of years, strengthening the appeal of his creations to collectors.
Icons of popular culture, bold graphics, and texture plays define a style that has now become essential.
SKE is without a doubt an artist to follow, to start or enrich a collection with rising value.
Artist with Credentials & Awards – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art
A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY The work of SKE sits in a prestigious lineage. His linework carries the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversion of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works create a bridge between eras: they reimagine classics, not hesitating to rework Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to confront them with a modern urban aesthetic close to Mr Brainwash or KAWS.
POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing from the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons from our childhood. He stages the Disney universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and the symbolic greed of Scrooge McDuck. The influence of gaming, comics, and the superhero world is ever-present: from Nintendo and the iconic Game Boy, to Pokémon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), through Marvel’s Super Heroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.
LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style sometimes reminiscent of Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with success and materialism codes. The Dollar symbol sits beside luxury and fashion logos. His canvases capture the aesthetic of “Hype”: the sneaker world (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also incorporates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precise watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not forgetting mass-consumption icons like Coca-Cola. It is vibrant art, with layered textures evoking the glossy finish of Jeff Koons or the facets of Richard Orlinski.
This work is ideal for enriching a collection or bringing a dynamic touch to your interiors.
