A rare and true first edition of this captivating photobook by the Italian photographer Enzo Arnone.
Ciccì Coccò is a well-known children’s photo book resulting from a collaboration between photographer Enzo Arnone and designer Bruno Munari. It combines black-and-white photographs by Enzo Arnone, depicting children in natural, everyday situations (taken between the 1970s and 1980s), with short rhymes and texts by Bruno Munari. The book was first published in 1982 by FotoSelex and is considered one of the first and rarest children’s books to use photography as its primary narrative medium. It was re-published several times afterwards.
122 Pages, 55 photographs in b/w.
Condition: very good, firm binding, spine solid, cover protected by a plastic sleeve, interior clean and unmarked. Only minor signs of handling, bottom right corner of cover pages slightly creased (see images)
