Dutch 19th-Century Inlaid Sideboard
Important Dutch 19th-century sideboard, finely parqueted and richly inlaid on every front with refined floral motifs, swirls and vegetal decorations crafted from precious wood species in warm, contrasting tones.
The bow-front upper glazed façade is adorned with marquetry panels featuring floral arrangements and central ornamental motifs, framed by geometric inlays. The interior, fully equipped, presents numerous small drawers, shaped open compartments and a central door with lock, as well as a writing surface lined with red felt, which adds elegance and practicality to the piece.
The lower part consists of three wide drawers with a molded front, also decorated with lush floral inlays that continue from the upper section, complete with metal handles and escutcheons finely worked. The bulging sides and the shaped skirting further enhance the sinuous line typical of Dutch production.
