Mobile Doppio Corpo of the 1800s Lacquered and Painted – South Tyrol
Important double-body cabinet from the 19th century, in the South Tyrol area, entirely lacquered and painted with original polychrome decorations of the period. The structure consists of a base with three drawers topped by a two-door upper section, characterized by a wavy line and a shaped cap typical of Alpine production of the 1700s.
The front of the upper section presents two doors decorated with contoured panels painted in shades of antique pink and light blue, framed by molded profiles. Inside there are original wooden shelves, with antique wrought iron hardware including hinges and lock.
The lower part is made up of three spacious drawers, also decorated with oval painted reserves in tones of pink and light blue, enriched with stylized motifs and coordinated central knobs. The side uprights are embellished with carved and painted elements featuring stylized floral motifs, while the molded base gives solidity and proportion to the whole.
The lacquer shows signs of time and wear consistent with the era, attesting to its authenticity and historical charm. A piece with great character and Alpine flavor, ideal for rustic rooms, mountain houses, or period contexts.
