Napoleon III Style Antique Bedside Table with Inlays and Gilded Bronzes

Elegant antique bedside table in Napoleon III style, dating to the mid-19th century, finely veneered and enriched with refined floral inlays and ornamental motifs in contrasting wood veneers.

The shaped upper surface is decorated with a rich central marquetry depicting a vase and botanical volutes, framed by moving reserves and fillets that enhance its elegance. The slightly curved front consists of three drawers, also inlaid with stylized floral motifs and enriched with gilded bronze applied decorations and finely chased handles.

The curved uprights and legs are accented by substantial gilded bronze applied elements, also present on the terminal sabot, which give dynamism and preciousness to the whole. The shaped apron completes the sinuous line typical of the French taste of the Second Empire.

A piece of great refinement and proportion, ideal as a bedside table, coffee table, or decorative element for classic and elegant interiors.
