Daisuke Yokota - Immerse - 2015

Daisuke Yokota is a young Japanese photographer who first came to international attention through his self-published first book 'Backyard'. Working in black and white, Yokota's textured images are a product of his experimental practice which involves re-photographing his original images and processing them at a high-temperature, building up layers of analog noise with each new development.

'IMMERSE' is the final chapter of Daisuke Yokota's TEIKAI trilogy, which the photographer began in early 2014 with the release of 'Linger', followed by 'Teikai' (Wandering at Midnight). As with the previous installments of the series, Yokota has released 'IMMERSE' in two editions - a standard edition, and a collector's edition.
