Description from the seller
These are vintage compact, bass-reflex speakers from Jamo. Model Mini 80 with wooden cabinets and a cast-aluminum front. They are very heavy, about 10 kg each, and surprisingly compact: 18 x 25 cm and 30 cm tall. They have a built-in L-Pad for the tweeter to optimally adjust the frequency response according to room dimensions. They are an excellent example of how high-quality audio components were built in the early 1980s. Music power 80 W, 50 W sine-wave, while the stated frequency response ranges from 38 Hz deep to 20 kHz. They have exceptional sensitivities, 96 dB / 2.4 W / 1 m. The woofer surround is not foam and therefore does not require periodic replacement over the years, and today these are perfect diaphragms, which have performed wonderfully since the 1980s. Excellent power handling and richly colored tonalities, able to embarrass any speaker of this size today. Thanks to the front-firing bass-reflex, they can be placed anywhere in the room, on bookshelves, tucked against the wall... The tweeter uses a special over-voltage protection circuit thanks to a capacitor-based filter system, which was also used by Bowers & Wilkins in the early 801 and 802 series in 1979. Small but exceptional speakers, a real sense of quality in the hand and in listening.
