Description from the seller
Camel Trophy – Green Belt – Swiss Quartz – 1990s
The Camel Trophy Green Belt belongs to the first line of Adventure Watches — developed in connection with the well-known Camel Trophy expeditions. These watches were intended to be robust and functional tools, with a clear and practical form.
This specimen is equipped with a Swiss quartz movement. The black dial features the iconic Camel Trophy logo. This model belongs to the first generation developed after the Camel Trophy license was acquired by the Swiss Mondaine Group, a period during which the watches were technically and structurally refined. The redesigned protected crown and the black date indicator are features of this enhanced series, valued by collectors as distinctive elements within the Camel Trophy line, still in its original box that resembles a small tool case. The sapphire crystal is in excellent condition and shows virtually no signs of wear. The brown leather strap with the Camel Trophy symbol mounted is still the original, showing some signs of use but in perfect condition of preservation.
Characteristics
- Movement: quartz
- Case: stainless steel with brass bezel
- Glass: mineral tempered glass
- Diameter: ≈ 35 mm without crown
- Water resistance: 5 ATM (not tested)
- Functions: hours, minutes, seconds, date with magnification
- Strap: Original brown Camel Trophy leather strap with original Camel Trophy clasp
Condition and peculiarities
- Dial original with the iconic Camel Trophy logo
- Leather strap practically with few signs of use but original.
Camel Trophy watches are appreciated by collectors for their recognizable design and the connection to the 1980s and 1990s expeditions. Green Belt models are becoming increasingly scarce in original condition and constitute an interesting part of Camel Trophy history.
I do not ship to the CANARY ISLANDS, war-torn or war-risk countries, Asian countries, all of Africa, South American or Latin American and North American countries.
They will be shipped carefully packed and with tracking number.
