Lot of 3 old decorative boxes – Red crystal Grand Tour and Capodimonte-style porcelain – 19th century
Description
Elegant lot of three antique decorative boxes dating from the 19th century, combining hand-painted porcelain with colored crystal, mounted in gold-toned metal (bronze or brass).
The lot includes:
1. Red crystal round box, set in an openwork gold-toned metal frame, the lid adorned with a painted under-glass medallion depicting a view of Paris.
A characteristic piece from 19th century Grand Tour souvenir objects.
Dimensions: about 4 cm high × 5 cm in diameter.
2. Square porcelain box hand-painted with polychrome floral motifs and gilt highlights, attributable to Capodimonte-style work.
Dimensions: about 5 × 5 × 3 cm.
3. Porcelain box with a bird motif, hand-painted in a naturalistic palette, mounted in gold-toned metal.
Under the base there is a painted mark “H”, not definitively attributed.
Dimensions: about 7 × 5 × 5 cm.
The decorations are fully hand-painted, with the touch and variations characteristic of 19th century artisanal productions.
The mounts feature antique gilding, with patina and wear consistent with age.

19th century
⸻
Condition
Good overall condition for antique objects.
Notes:
• normal wear on the gilding,
