This handwoven Kilim is characterized by a particularly fine, graphic stripe structure and a calm, natural color effect. The entire surface is subdivided by numerous narrow, horizontally running lines that are slightly irregularly arranged, giving the rug a lively, handcrafted texture.
Color-wise, brown, taupe, beige and cream dominate. The fine pale lines stand out clearly from the darker brown and taupe tones and create a dense yet tranquil overall impression. A narrow vertical line runs through the middle of the rug, visually splitting the surface into two halves.
Classical ornaments or floral motifs are intentionally avoided. The effect arises solely from the fine line structure, the natural color tones, and the slightly irregular weave. This makes the Kilim appear modern, restrained, and very timeless.
