Description from the seller

Wall sconce shaped like a winged triton holding a torch.
Patinated bronze. Second half of the 19th century. Probable origin France, though it could be English or Central European.
Very good condition. With minimal signs of use and aging.

31 cm tall, 17 cm wide and 18 cm deep.

The wall sconce has openings for wiring.
The original wiring has not been preserved.
The original tulip is no longer preserved.
Of the three screws that should secure a lampshade, we only have two.

A figure excellently modeled in all its development and details.

Collector's or high-end décor.
