Late 20th‑century travertine round table top, 60 cm in diameter and 3 cm thick, in antique‑inspired Florentine style with inlaid pietre dure stones.

AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Important travertine top, with inlays of hard stones (marbles of different colors) and semi-precious stones (azurite, lapis lazuli, ...) made in the late 20th century. The table was created drawing inspiration from Florentine Renaissance tables, preserved at the Opificio delle Pietre Dure in Florence. It represents roses of different colors (white and variegated), with buds and leaves.
The travertine top was made specifically for an important villa in the province of Pistoia, Tuscany. It has never been used, and remained wrapped for years; the crater that contained it was opened to take photos.
The table shows minor signs that do not compromise its overall beauty.

The top is round, with a diameter of about 60 cm. It has a thickness of about 3 cm and is composed of 2 boards, assembled together. The top has no base of any kind (no legs).

A second inlaid top, identical to this one (though with different veining due to the uniqueness of each piece), is available. If you are interested in the pair, please get in touch.

The table can be viewed in person in Pistoia. If purchased, it is possible to arrange direct pickup (Pistoia, Tuscany), or proceed with shipping.

The cost of packing and shipping within Italy is 150.00 Euro with insurance; within Europe it is 250.00 Euro with insurance. Other locations can be evaluated upon specific request. Any customs, duties, or other costs related to export/import are the buyer's responsibility.
